My Favorite Quote
Persistence. All you need is persistence. If you want to make something happen, if you even think that there's a
slight possibility in making something happen then all you need is persistence. As the quote says "Persistence and
determination alone are OMNIPOTENT". Powerful, powerful words that I can't help but try and live by.
Through out my entire life, be it as short as it may have been one thing has been always been constant, my attitude.
I was what I could call a child born with talent. I never had to put in any sort of effort to get by through school.
In fact I seemed to have flown by through everything. As soon as I hit my high school's door it was as if I ran straight
into a brick wall. My entire world was flipped upside down. Sure I could keep up easily with the academics, but that
isn't to say that I was passing my classes. My carefree, "knowitall" stance in school got the better of me and began
to deprive me of the pride I once had. I honestly hit rock bottom. I didn't know what to do. I obviously could not come
back to school anymore, and as everyday went by I dug myself deeper and deeper into this bottomless pit. However, as
down as I had felt, the answer came to light. Perhaps the answer was always there. I just needed to get up and get over it.
to move on out of my rut and to start walking again. Be it a year or two, I was obviously behind. But staying there
in my self made hell hole would not make things any better for me. I would need to begin to move. However small my steps
were I needed to push on and keep my eyes set on the goal I needed to reach. Not just for anyone but myself.
